When will you pray? You already know for what you could pray. You
have needs. You have loved ones with needs. You know other people
with needs. You know some of the needs 'out there' in the world.
When will you deny yourself? Most of your income is devoted to you
and your own family (besides that which is taken without your having a
choice). Most of your time is devoted to your fulfillment and your
interests, some to working on your reputation and status. You are
very concerned about your comfort - especially your future comfort.
Where will you serve? You serve your family in many ways. You
serve yourself in all those same ways plus some more. But, you are
more into being served than serving.
You might think I have spoken boldly since I don't know who will read
this or what they might be like. But, what about YOU? If I say I'm right
about you, there is a way better than even chance I am right on the
money. So when will you pray and deny yourself (as commanded by
the one you call Lord, unless you don't call Jesus Lord) and where will
you serve?
If you ever do it will be now and where you are. There is really no
other choice. "Work while it is day, for night is coming when no man
will work."
