Did you ever wonder how the Anti-Christ will get anyone to follow after him? I mean, you'd
think with all the books and movies out that detail how it will all go down that everyone would
be able to see what's up. There are at least 3 reasons people will allow themselves to be taken
in by the satanic wiles of Anti-Christ.
First, God is going to allow a great delusion to come upon those who will not repent. Second, it
may not look exactly like we might expect. In fact, this is almost a given. Even though we
think we have it all figured out, God is perfectly able to bring every prophecy to fruition exactly
as described in the Bible and it not look anything like anyone thought that it would. Including
us premillennialists who have it down to the point we can script the dialogue.
The third thing is related to the second in a sense. Maybe it will come about that the peace that
Anti-Christ is prophesied to bring for the first half of his run might include the apparent solution
to a lot more problems many would like to see solved. Maybe his system will include cures for
many diseases, prosperity for almost everyone, maybe even things like a way to eat without
gaining weight. And who will NOT be able to participate? Who won't get the cure? Who will
be hard up financially and so on? Right, anyone who insists on bowing the knee to God.
If people are not driven to God now, why would anyone refuse to follow Anti-Christ who may
well have the very answers they want to hear?
