What would it be like to be God's enemy? Maybe you remember what it was like before
you came to Christ. That would be what its like to be God's enemy since that's what the
Bible says we were then - enemies. Most of us really don't think it was all that bad.
When we get together with people we knew then we talk about little else. Anyone
listening would be hard pressed to put together that those times were the same ones we
were talking about when we testified about being saved from our previous lives of
wretched sin.
What about now? The Bible says that those who love the world are enemies of God.
Does that mean that those who love the world are also in a pre-Christian state? I don't
pretend to know the answer for sure, but its hard to add it up any other way. So, what
does it mean to love the world? Seems as though the answer to that might be very
important to us, whether we want it to be or not.
There are certainly things about the world and in the world that I am very interested in -
very interested. Is that love? . Am I an enemy of God? Are you?
