Life is no game. We often live like it is a game and we are just out to have a
grand old time with our time. What else is there to do with time? What
would be the very best use of the time we are given? Make no mistake
about that, the time you have is definitely given to you. You don't earn it,
buy it, or even choose to have it in any way beyond the possible choice
not to bring it to an end. You do have it, though, so will you play it out or
choose another path?
If you want to look back on your life and to see that it was good, that you
did spend it well, you must realize that life is deadly serious. It can be full
of joy and one can experience great peace, but not without the realization
that life is not trivial, not in any way at any time. The evolutionists are right
about at least one thing - life is a unrelenting and vicious struggle for
survival. Those who find a way to survive will be few. How important is it
that you and those you love find that way? Important enough to dedicate
your life to its pursuit for yourself and those you love because most will
perish. Most will perish with rescue in sight.
Jesus did not waste time, He knew life was no game and He lived His life
the way He did because He knew that our survival depends entirely on
Him. Your rescue is in His hands. Put yourself in His care now and live.
Perhaps those with you now will join you.
Pursue the game and perish.
