STREUSEL BAKED PEARS

4         firm-ripe Bartlett pears, pealed halved and
              cored
1/2 c    quick-cooking rolled oats
2 Tbs   packed light brown sugar
2 Tbs   margarine
1 Tbs   all-purpose flour
1 Tbs   sliced almonds
1/2 tsp  cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Spray a 7"x11" baking dish with
nonstick spray and arrange the pears cut side up.  Blend the
oats, sugar, margarine, flour, almonds,  and cinnamon in a small
bowl until crumbly.  Sprinkle over the pears.  Bake, uncovered,
until the filling is bubbly and the top is golden, 40-50 minutes.  
Serve warm or at room temperature.
