Doctrine
What we consider essential:
Salvation is needed by every man and is required for the forgiveness of
sin, the satisfaction of God’s wrath, and the eternal enjoyment of the
glory of God. It is effectuated by faith in Jesus Christ and is available to
all who will believe to the point of repentance and confession that He is
Lord. Jesus saves because he is gracious and merciful. Jesus is able to
save through his perfect life, sacrificial death, and resurrection to life.
Those who are saved are gifted to serve in a local church and they are to
do so in order to find satisfaction in life for themselves. This satisfaction
can only be completed in the use of these gifts to bring the benefits of
Jesus to others.
Jesus will return at the God-appointed time and bring his kingdom into
complete fruition.
We will not divide over:

Mode and administration of Baptism
Mode and administration of Communion
Pastors and teachers are free to teach in these areas according to
conscience. The church body deals with any doctrinal problems that arise
that might cause problems. Church government is set up in a
congregational format, but we have no quarrel with other churches using
other formats, nor do we require our members to believe that this is the
only or even the best format. It is, however, how we will continue to
operate.
